Marks & Spencer shoppers praise 'fabulous' £39.50 floral dress that's 'great for spring'

Marks & Spencer shoppers have been snapping up a floral dress that comes in different patterns and can be worn for everyday outings or special occasions.

With spring just around the corner, the retailer's Floral V-Neck Midi Tiered Dress has been catching the eye of customers on the M&S website where it is styled with a casual hoodie and boots. Priced at £39.50, the dress is available in three different colours: orange with white flowers, black with multi-coloured flowers, and plain black.

Designed in a comfy regular fit, the midi-length dress has a v-neckline and features pleated detail on its short sleeves, as well as a button-front fastening. Shoppers have been leaving rave reviews for the outfit, with one person writing: "Five out of five for this dress, love the colour and the fit, great for spring."

"Love this dress," another said. "Bought same style a couple of years ago and get so much wear out of it. Can dress up or down. Hangs beautifully and fits well."

A third shopper said of the dress: "Just what I needed to brighten a winter morning". While another added: "Can dress up or be casual - love it!"

"This dress is comfortable, flattering and easy to wear," someone else wrote. "Overall a good buy at a reasonable price."

M&S recently highlighted the garment as "one of the best floral dresses for spring" on the Inspire Me section of its website. Described as "ideal for spring gatherings and events", the retailer offered some top tips on how to style the orange flower-patterned version of the dress.

"The secret to wearing bold shades is to keep the rest of your outfit simple: select understated jewellery and heels to complete the ensemble. Don’t be afraid of a punchy colour palette – not only are vibrant brights on-trend this season, they also have serious mood-boosting potential," M&S said.

They added: "Maximise the cost-per-wear value of the dress by neutralising for everyday wear with a classic beige trench coat and platform trainers, switching for a leather biker jacket and buckled ankle boots for going out in the evening."
