Marks & Spencer removes 'The Biggest Ever Éclair' from its Christmas food range

Marks and Spencer's festive food range was revealed last week, with many fans eager to try its hotly anticipated foot-long chocolate éclair.

Unfortunately, the retailer has now confirmed that 'The Biggest Ever Éclair' is going to be removed from its Christmas food range and will not be available for shoppers to try.

Customers will still be able to treat themselves to more than 170 items in the festive food line-up, which includes items like brie en croute, vegan root vegetable tarte tatin and sticky toffee trifle as well as traditional items like turkey and roast beef.

When the Christmas range was announced, many keen fans took to the What's On Facebook page to declare their excitement - especially regarding the éclair.

Catherine Lloyd said: "Can’t cope with that eclair and I am not waiting until Xmas! X"

Sharon Fox said: "That foot long eclair has got my name all over it!"
