January has already gifted sweet-toothed food fans with some new sugary treats including Creme Egg Chocolate Cake Bars and Costa Pink Hot Chocolate.
And while we still have Burns Night and Chinese New Year to look forward to at the end of this month, Marks & Spencer is already gearing up for Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 25.
The high street favourite has created a brand new Percy Pig dessert sauce for fans of the iconic chewy sweet who can now enjoy all the flavours of the famous pig drizzled over pancakes, ice cream, cupcakes and pretty much anything else your tastebuds fancy pairing it up with.
Shoppers can pick up a bottle from M&S stores for just £2 - but it's not available online just yet, reports Mirror Online .
A picture of the Percy Pig dessert sauce was recently posted on the M&S Food Press Office Instagram account, which has gained 3,989 likes so far.
And it seems fans have already been rushing to their nearest M&S to try it, with one woman commenting on the post: "Just picked some up today and ice cream, girls love it."
Another wrote: "look at thaaaaaaat!!!!"
While another person said: "I will look for this when I’m in work."
The vegetarian-friendly treat can be drizzled over pretty much anything to make it taste deliciously sweet - from pancakes to ice cream, making it the perfect partner for Shrove Tuesday.
If the sweet sauce isn't for you, M&S has plenty of other Percy Pig treats available in stores - including jam-filled muffins and the popular gelatine-free sweets.
M&S has also recently become the first high street supermarket to sell vegan potato salad, vegan coleslaw and vegan-friendly sourdough pizza.
