Christmas may be weeks away yet - but Marks & Spencer has already launched its festive deals on seasonal veg - down to just 40p.
The premium grocer said it's reduced prices on carrots, parsnips, broccoli, potatoes and sprouts, in a bid to help those already in the festive spirit save a few pounds.
Items on offer include broccoli, 500g of both parsnips and Brussels sprouts, 1kg of carrots and 1.5kg of potatoes.
However, it may be worth holding out for even cheaper deals closer to December 25.
Next week, several UK supermarkets are expected to knock down prices on veg, sparking a seasonal price war.
Last year Tesco kicked things off with 29p vegetables - a move that was quickly beaten by Aldi who responded with a 28p promotion.
However, hold out until Christmas week itself and you could find yourself quids in - with 19p vegetables at both Aldi and Lidl.
But it's not just shopping around that could save you pounds this Christmas - as one woman shown on her quest for the bargains.
Bonita Aguilera - and saved more than £40 in the process.
The 22-year-old said that by planning ahead, she was able to pick up £44.60 worth of goods at her local Asda for just £3.51 - leaving her with more cash to spend over December and January.
Bonita managed to pick up pigs in blankets, stuffing, bacon, tuna steaks, pork shops, pepper ribs, and more, with reduced stickers at her local Asda store.
She said the secret is to go into your local branch at 6:30pm.
"At the end of each day, supermarkets have to chuck out foods that hit their use by date," money expert Tom Church said.
"Throughout the day they put on yellow stickers, starting at mid-day and steadily increasing until store closure time. While every store is different, generally 6:30pm is the perfect time to go. You can expect discounts to be about 50 percent off or more.
"If you shop at Aldi however, you want to look out for red stickers instead. Usually the morning is best. They slap on loads of half price labels, and bargain hunters say about 08:30am is optimal.
"At Morrisons, the stickers are orange. And a little secret, Marks & Spencer can often have the biggest savings because it has higher starting prices.
"Another Christmas dinner trick: for big ticket items like turkey, gammon, roast beef, if you're able to, wait until December 27th. Everything gets reduced to crazy cheap because there's always excess stock leftover that no one's bought. You can shove it in your freezer and use it for Sunday roasts throughout spring."
