Marks and Spencer is a supermarket that is not only known for its Colin the Caterpillar and Percy the Pig - but also for its wide range of new and delicious food.
And once again, the retail giant has pulled it out the bag once again with a brand new sweet treat, reports the Daily Record. There is a new white strawberry, that has notes of pineapple and vanilla, with shoppers desperate to get their hands on.
The exclusive new £4 Collection White Pearl Strawberries are a first on the high streets of the UK, and have quite the unique flavour and look. Described as a "strawberry in reverse" with its unique white colouring, the newest fruit on the market is white inside and out - but is covered in red seeds.

Not only are they an exotic thing to look at, but the new strawberries are said to have the sweet flavours of the typical red kind, but have notes of vanilla and pineapple while chewing.
M&S shared a photo of the brand new product to their official Instagram page - and it has quickly went viral, with 15,000 fans hitting the like button. The comments were also flooded with excited shoppers waiting to try them.
One shopper wrote: "Need to try these."
And another said: "Oh wow!! These look amazing."
A third wrote: "Wooowwwwwwww!!! need to try."
And more said: "*Adds to list of strange things M&S will take my money for*"
And a fifth excited fan added: "I literally just tried to tap my phone screen with my debit card in the hope that they would be purchased and appear on my desk right now. By desk, I mean sofa. By right now, I mean after I wake from a quick nap."
Tom Pedley, M&S Strawberry Buyer says: "At M&S we love to be first to market and introduce products that no one else can, our customers get really excited when we introduce new flavour produce or hybrids!
"We’re known for our Candyfloss Grapes, while the Limelon was all over the news so that’s why we had to bring the White Pear Strawberry to M&S, not only does it have a really unique flavour but it’s incredible to look at, plus, it’s great for kids, who doesn’t want to try a reverse strawberry!"
The Collection White Pearl Strawberries cost £4 and are available in M&S Food Halls now.
