Marks and Spencer shoppers rave as popular candy revamped into summer classic

Marks and Spencer have just announced an exciting new addition to their menu at their M&S cafes, which are located around the UK.

The supermarket have announced that they will be selling two slushies, each one with a unique flavour to their most popular confectionery options instore.

Writing on Facebook, M&S said: "We've got some VERY exciting Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpillar news.

"Our new Percy and Colin Slushees launch exclusively in the M&S Café today! Our delicious Percy Pig Slushee is a blend of grape, raspberry and apple juice, and our Colin the Caterpillar Slushee is a cloudy apple juice, both churned until refreshingly frozen.

"Even better... they contain no artificial colours, no added sugar, are one of your five-a-day and they are both certified Eat Well.

"This means you're making a healthy choice. Pop down to your local M&S Café and try one today."

Fans flooded the comments with excitement, as they clamoured over potential gluten-free options and jokes about rival supermarkets copying them.

One Facebook user said: "Shame you can't have a mixed one like what they do with the Tango ones. A ColPer or PerCol flavour slushy!"

Another wrote: "Waiting for Aldi UK to open their own cafes now with Cuthbert and Leo copies!"

And a third added: "I’m hoping that no Percy Pigs or Colin the Caterpillar’s were harmed in the making of these slushies!"

A fourth noted: "Percy Pig slushy is lovely. My daughter has one this morning."

And another said: "How many caterpillars are in the caterpillar one?"

The supermarket also confirmed in the comments that both the Edinburgh Gyle and Craigleith stores will have these slushies available to buy.
