Marks and Spencer shoppers praise new £2 Percy Pig savoury treats as 'next level'

He's the adorable little animal that is beloved by shoppers everywhere, and now it looks like M&S have expanded their Percy Pig empire to dinner time.

From sweet treats to homeware and clothing, the iconic smiley pink face of M&S can be found nearly everywhere in-store. And now Percy Pig can be found on - wait for it - potato shapes.

Similar to the classic smiley faces - another iconic dish, if we do say so ourselves - M&S' new potato shapes have been hailed as "next level" by some shoppers online.

The retail giant has said that its fun teatime snack will be a "midweek meal game changer", reports The Manchester Evening News.

The potato shapes have been described as "fluffy potatoes, lightly fried and shaped into adorable Percy Pig faces" - and shoppers can't get enough of them.

A photo of the shapes was shared on the popular Feed your family for about £20 a week Facebook page.

While some followers obliged by answering the question of how much they cost - £2 a pack for anyone interested - dozens of others simply tagged in relatives and friends to share the important Percy update.

"Next level", exclaimed one impressed shopper.

"Omg need to try these", said another.

"Oooooo might need to try these", commented a third.

"it’s not a want, more of a need", replied a fourth.

M&S' Percy Pig Potato Shapes are available in-stores now for £2.
