Thousands of Marks and Spencer shoppers were impressed after spotting an elaborate "epic" Easter egg cake online.
As an essential retailer, Marks and Spencer Food Halls remain open during lockdown and people are permitted to go shopping when needing to stock up on essential items. Non-essential purchases can also be made during these visits.

With the countdown to Easter officially underway, many shoppers are keen to snap up chocolate eggs and other tasty snacks to indulge in.
Marks and Spencer caused a stir when it shared a picture of a giant Easter egg creation on its official Instagram page.
The photo, originally posted by self-taught baker Lily Vanilli Bakery, shows Colin the Caterpillar Easter eggs and treats incorporated into a decorative chocolate cake. The Easter eggs have been finished in gold to add a touch of luxury.
Of the image, M&S penned: "The queen of creative cakes, @lily_vanilli_cake, has used our very own Colin the Caterpillar Easter egg to make these amazing creations! Check out her recipe by clicking the link in our bio and tag us in your Easter bakes."
The photo was a hit among shoppers, racking up more than 5,700 likes.
