Marks and Spencer shoppers are "obsessed" with an "amazing" festive Colin the Caterpillar trifle after spotting it online.
High street favourite M&S has built millions of followers across its social media channels. Like many retailers, the store ensures it posts regular product news to keep shoppers in the loop on all the latest stock launches.
Recently, the popular retailer caused a stir on its food Instagram account.

To its 256k Instagram followers, Marks and Spencer Food shared a photo of its Colin the Caterpillar Trifle.
The trifle is the retailer's spin on the festive classic and features chocolate sponge rolls filled with buttercream, a layer of chocolate custard, chocolate mousse and whipped cream. It's finished with mini Colin the Caterpillar faces.
Captioning the image, M&S penned: "Colin can’t be trifled with… but on this occasion we will allow it Introducing the MUST HAVE dessert of the season, the Colin the Caterpillar Trifle! Chocolate sponge rolls filled with buttercream topped with chocolate custard, chocolate mousse, whipped cream and finished with mini Colin faces. YUM!"
The dessert proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 3,500 likes in less than a day.
