Marks & Spencer shoppers have spotted what they have dubbed "the most perfect summer dress" in the retailer's new collection.
The high street favourite recently launched its summer range, including the Women's Holiday Shop online which includes everything from flattering swimwear and beach cover-ups to comfy shoes and sandals for exploring your next getaway destination. The collection is also heavy on breathable cotton-rich materials to help you keep your cool in the sunshine, as well as bold pops of colour to make a statement wherever you're headed this summer.
One particular garment that has caught shoppers' eyes is the Cotton Rich Textured V-Neck Knitted Dress, priced at £39.50. Available in either ivory or black in sizes ranging from extra small to extra large, the dress comes with open-stitch textured detailing for a stylish yet simple touch, and has been selling quickly online.

M&S shared a snap of the dress on Instagram, where it was modelled with a matching brown leather belt and sandals on a sandy beach. "Just arrived: the knitted dress of dreams," the retailer wrote - and shoppers were loving the outfit in the comments section.
"The most perfect summer dress! OBSESSED," one person wrote. And the dress has also earned positive reviews from M&S customers who have already snapped it up for themselves.
"Lovely flattering dress and quite slimming on," was one shopper's verdict. "It's perfect to accessorise whatever the occasion. I will wear mine with a cream denim jacket. Looks a lot more expensive than the price paid."
Another fan of the dress said: "For those of us looking for an alternative to ditsy, flouncy summer tea dresses this offers something different. Quite weighty as it's a knitted piece but there's something quite 'designer' about this dress."
If you like the look of the dress but are more partial to a pair of shorts or a skirt on your beach trip, a similar style is available as a Cotton Rich Textured Knitted Vest, priced at £27.50. And these aren't the only new summer garments that have caught the interest of M&S shoppers, with the retailer showing off more of its new range on Instagram.
Another dress that earned high praise was the new Zebra Print Midaxi Shirt Dress, which is also priced at £39.50. "I have the zebra shirt dress - so versatile and I'll be wearing mine open over linen trousers and a vest along with your great chunky sandals. Love your ranges at the minute," one fan wrote on Instagram.
And a beach outfit from fashion brand Nobody's Child was also hailed as a must-have addition to summer wardrobes, consisting of a £25 Floral Crop Top and a matching Floral Midaxi Tiered Skirt for £24. "Love this so much I just ordered it," someone said after spotting the outfit on social media. "M&S you are nailing it at the moment, gorgeous clothes and such good quality."
Nobody's Child has just launched its own holiday collection online, where fans of the brand can find more summer dresses, skirts, co-ords and swimwear. The website also has an outlet section where shoppers can browse hundreds of clothing and accessories at reduced prices, starting from just £4.
