Marks and Spencer shoppers were impressed after spotting a "gorgeous" £45 transitional dress online.
High street favourite Marks and Spencer ensures shoppers are kept up to date on all the latest product news and stock launches via its social media pages.
Taking to its main Instagram page, the popular retailer posted a photo of its printed v-neck shirred midi waisted dress.

The printed midi dress features stretchy shirring at the waist and a mock wrap front. It costs £45 to buy from Marks and Spencer's website.
Captioning an image of M&S staff member Sam sporting the dress with a pair of trainers, the store said: "The perfect transitional piece for the changing weather. @marksandspencer_sam looking bold and beautiful."
The dress was a hit among Marks and Spencer's 1.8million followers, racking up more than 2,000 likes. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.

Some fans were disappointed the dress was unavailable in the petite range.

Staff member Sam, who is seen wearing the dress in Marks and Spencer's picture, replied: "just to let you know I’m 5’2 [smiley face emoji] Where the label may not say “petite” I still like to try these dresses (sometimes in the shorter length if there is that option) and see how they look on me [smiley face emoji] Sam x".
