Marks and Spencer shoppers were excited after spotting its "gorgeous" new loaf cakes online.
High street giant M&S regularly keeps shoppers in the loop on all the latest product and stock launches via its social media pages. The retailer boasts a main Instagram page, a fashion page and a food news page.
On its Marks and Spencer Food PR Instagram page, M&S unveiled a picture of its new mini loaf cakes.

Captioning the image of the "perfectly proportioned" sweet treat, which was originally posted by @sweetreviewsuk, M&S penned: "This week look out for our NEW perfectly portioned mini loaf cakes which come in three DELICIOUS flavours.
"Whether it be zesty lemon with a gorgeous lemon buttercream and lemon curd drizzle; indulgent chocolate with a rich chocolate buttercream and loaded with chocolate curls or sticky toffee with a rich sticky toffee cake and delicious toffee buttercream Perfect for as a sweet afternoon pick-me-up!"
The loaf cakes proved a hit online, racking up more than 4,500 likes in less than 24 hours.
