Marks and Spencer's 'magical' gin globe summer liqueur shoppers say 'looks too good to drink'

Marks and Spencer has unveiled a new glitter globe gin liqueur shoppers have described as a 'magical' drink for the summer.

M&S revealed the limited edition product on its Instagram after teasing customers the previous day with a video of gold glitter shimmering liquid.

The caption read: "Something BIG is coming this spring. Big… and glittery. Can you guess what it is? Check back tomorrow for the big reveal!."

The retailer then posted a second video today unveiling their latest product and shoppers are loving it. The clip racked up 65,000 views and attracted more than 16,000 within an hour of it being posted on social media.

M&S wrote: "Say hello to the must-sip drink of the season: our NEW, limited-edition cherry blossom glitter globe gin liqueur! With 23-carat gold leaf and a hint of cherry and peach, it comes in a bottle that's almost too pretty to open. Tag someone who will love it!"

Sarah tagged herself and wrote: "I'm tagging myself as I need this!"

Emma said: "Ohhhh that looks so pretty, bet it would be nice for the summer."

Liverpoolladyinred replied: "Sooooo I'll be buying this."

Hannah tagged her friends and said: "We best get hunting now!"

Jojo commented: "Need to get one of these in my life - bet it will be as good as the Xmas edition! Xxx."

Lucy tagged her mate and wrote: "This is our next mission!!"

Lizzie said: "Oh my life this sounds so delicious."

Emma added: "Oh wow this looks magical."

One shopper replied: "It looks too good to drink doesn't it," and a second added: "Ooh we need to try this!"

Finally, Adina commented: "Rollllllllll on glitter Gin in the sunshine."

All M&S Food halls are open as usual during lockdown, including in larger stores that also sell clothing and homeware. All remaining 'non-essential' shops will open on April 12.
