Marks and Spencer's £15 Harry Potter Easter treat is a 'must try'

The new Harry Potter Easter treat at Marks and Spencer was bound to get people talking.

But the £15 product has divided opinion on social media.

A picture of the hollow chocolate Hedwig The Owl has attracted a lot of attention online, with some not keen on the £15 price tag, the Liverpool Echo has reported.

Regardless of the price, the new chocolate treat is bound to be popular following the success of the store’s Harry Potter Wizarding World Chocolate Sorting Hat from Christmas.

After a picture of Hedwig the Owl was shared on the Facebook group  Snack News & Reviews, more than 400 people commented on the post.

One said: “I'D LOVE THIS”.

Another added: “I am getting this for Easter”.

And a third said: “Would definitely love to try that.”

But while many liked the look of it, there was one thing some people just couldn’t get their head round - the price tag.

One shopper said: “£15!! I'll pass for that price..."

Another added: “if you're prepared to take out a second mortgage!”

While a third questioned: “Why so expensive tho”.

Marks and Spencer Food Halls remain open during lockdown for essential shopping. Other parts of M&S stores are closed.

* All shoppers should follow the guidelines during the pandemic around mask wearing, social distancing and essential journeys only
