Marks and Spencer is cutting prices across all its cafe items

Marks and Spencer is cutting prices on all its menu items at its cafes.

M&S is joining businesses across the hospitality industry, such as McDonald's and Wetherspoons, in dropping prices.

M&S is embracing the VAT cut, announced earlier this month by chancellor Rishi Sunak, and reducing the price of every item available at its M&S cafes.

It means M&S cafe customers can get cheaper meals and drinks, reports Liverpool Echo.

This includes a Flat White for £2.36 down from £2.70 and a Freshly Baked Jacket Potato with Baked Beans for £4.33 down from £4.95.

There are now more than 200 M&S cafes open across the UK.

Shoppers can find their local here.

Those looking for something to eat at home can now pick up the latest dine in for two deal in stores.

The high-street retailer is offering a main, side, dessert and a bottle of wine in the promotion for just £12.

Dishes include Gastropub pulled beef, rotisserie chicken and garlic and herb chicken flatties.
