Marks and Spencer have excited customers after keen eyed shoppers spotted one of the retailer’s Christmas desserts.
Their Christmas food range is available to order online and includes Molton Cheddar Profiteroles, a Percy Pig Pigloo cake and a Turkey and Ham Christmas Pudding Pie.
However it is their Sticky Toffee Pudding Crown with custard and salted caramel sauce that is getting shoppers all hot under the collar.
A post on the M&S Facebook page shared an image of the £20 dessert, where it accumulated over 3,000 comments in under 24 hours, the Liverpool Echo revealed.
Dom Baker said: “I think this could quite possibly be, my heaven in a pud! I am ordering this for Christmas."
Jayne Cross tagged a friend and said: “we are getting one of these for Christmas”.
Kate McGinn called it “Food heaven.”
Charlie Scrivens Marshall said: “Oh wow that looks sooooo goooooood”.
Natalie Hughes also tagged a friend and said: “this looks soooo good for Christmas Day!!”
Ellen Dolan added: “oh my goodness look at this pudding”.
This year’s M&S Christmas food selection will also include Posh Cheesy Beans on Toast for £5 and a vegan Plant Kitchen Melt in the Middle Chocolate Pudding.
And people are already getting into the festive spirit, with M&S revealing that last week alone customers bought over 90,000 bottles of the Light-Up Snow Globe Liqueurs, which works out as one every three seconds.
The Christmas Food to Order service launched today, which is earlier than ever before, with centrepieces, trimmings, starters and desserts all on the menu. This year there will also be several online exclusives including Collection Lobster En Croute.
