Marks and Spencer armed robbery arrest after 'raid' on Scots store

A man has been arrested in connection with a daylight robbery of a Scottish supermarket.

The 51-year-old had been taken in by cops after an alleged armed robbery at a Marks and Spencer food hall in Oban .

The man was charged by police following an incident at the food hall on Lochavullin Drive on Tuesday August 13.

The incident occurred at around 3.20 pm in the afternoon.

He is expected to appear at Oban Sheriff Court tomorrow (August 19).

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
