Marko Arnautovic 'tipped to solve' Manchester United striker crisis and more transfer rumours

Following injury to Anthony Martial and continued speculation surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, former West Ham and Stoke City forward Marko Arnautovic has been linked with an Old Trafford switch.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that United are now eyeing the experienced Austrian, but Bologna are asking a high price amid reported interest from Juventus. The 33-year-old scored 14 goals in Serie A last season after returning to Europe following three years in China.

Reports state that the forward is keen on a return to England after a successful spell in the Premier League. This is not the first time that the 102 cap international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho reportedly having held an interest during his time at the club.

De Jong is United's number one priority as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his midfield options, and it's claimed Milinkovic-Savic will not be considered as a back-up option should United fail to secure a deal for the Dutchman.
