West Ham have received a significant injury boost after scans revealed Marko Arnautovic's foot injury was just heavy bruising.
Arnautovic was back in the West Ham team after the speculation around his future ended last week but the Hammers are now sweating on his fitness.
The Austrian was caught on the top of his foot by a strong challenge in the second half and was forced off.
Arnautovic was ineffectual as the Hammers fell to a third consecutive loss, with Pablo Zabaleta confirming after the game that the speculation over the Austrian's future has negatively affected the club's form.
“It was a tough two weeks,” said Zabaleta. “Situations off the field have been creating a bit of a bad atmosphere. I am not saying that is the only reason we lost games.
"But I remember in December when we had a good run, it was West Ham playing as a team and everyone working so hard for each other.
