Markle's mani: this is the exact nail varnish Meghan Markle wore on her wedding day

It was the manicure seen by billions (two, to be precise) but, until now, the mani Meghan Markle had for her nuptials in 2018 has been kept a secret.

Two years later though and we're finally learning the beauty details. According to Vogue, Markle entrusted London salon DryBy with lacquering her fingers and toes.

The mother-of-one wore CND Shellac, with one layer of Unmasked (£13.99, buy now) and two coats of Negligee (£11.95, buy now) on her fingers, and two coats of Cashmere Wrap (£12.88, buy now) on her toes, adhering to the royal protocol which states that senior royals' nails should be kept short, clean and neutral.

The combination of the two polishes resulted in an opaque milky pink, which differs slightly from the queen's rumoured favourite colour, Essie's Ballet Slippers, which is a sheer neutral hue.

DryBy London is a Fitzrovia salon which was founded in 2015 by Hungarian-raised, London-based sister duo Krisztina van der Boom and Anita Puluczkai.

CND Shellac meanwhile promises a two-week chip-free manicure, perfect for the fortnight her and Prince Harry reportedly spent in Namibia for their honeymoon.

The beauty update comes as a new book about the pair has revealed a slew of royal secrets, including that Prince Harry told her he loved her after just three months of dating.
