The Los Angeles Lakers held their ring ceremony before tonight’s season opener against the Clippers at Staples Center and the franchise found a pretty awesome way to make the moment even more special – they surprised the players by having family members and loved ones present the rings in videos shown on the Jumbotron.
The Lakers won their 17th NBA title a few months ago in the bubble in Orlando, beating the Miami Heat 4-2 in the Finals.
All the ring presentations were pretty emotional, but nothing beat Markieff Morris’ young daughter who was so fired up to introduce her dad.

It’s also great that Morris’ brother, Marcus Morris, was seen shooting a video of that moment even though he’s on the Clippers. Family over everything.
