Marketing and web design firm Kolodo led by 25-year-old doubles turnover

A web design and digital marketing agency led by a 25-year-old is celebrating having more than doubled its turnover in the space of a year.

Kolodo, which moved to Liverpool last year, says it has seen rapid growth within the consultancy, with turnover having increased from £260,000 to £525,000.

Josh Diamond, managing director, told BusinessLive: “It’s been an incredible 12 months, we’ve grown an amazing team, won some great clients and done some incredible work. I’m grateful to everyone who has been involved getting us this far and I look forward to what the next 12 months bring.”

Josh said the growth is due to retaining current clients, but also winning an additional 18, including firms such as Zest Bathrooms and Kitchens, Vermont and AMP Clean Energy.

As well as that, it's also added a "raft" of marketing services to compliment design and development. That includes paid advertising, organic search strategies, social media management and advertising, digital PR and conversion rate optimisation to continue to service client’s objectives.

Staff-count has also doubled to 14 alongside the increase in turnover - most recently appointing of a head of operations and commercial director at the 1,000ft Royal Albert Dock HQ.

The firm also has offices in Chester and London.

Josh added that the consultancy continues to grow - and is on the lookout for more staff: an account manager, paid advertising specialist and organic search executive.
