Content marketing, in particular the video we’ve had made for our website, has been vital in building our business over the last 12 months. Our products are special, not only in design but also in manufacture. We use traditional steam-bending techniques to make our furniture and lighting range - much like the old-fashioned methods of making clinker boats.

With many things it is important to convey these techniques to our customer base because it authenticates our processes and validates our mission: to create quality, hand-crafted products (that are not mass produced) in the most environmentally friendly way possible. We’re a small, family-run business based in Cornwall. We rely on content marketing not only tell our story, but also use to converse with our target market through our blog. It allows us to share our inspirations and product developments and to promote the Tom Raffield brand to a wider audience.

In this era, consumers enjoy becoming part of the story of brands they buy. Our video shares our story with customers and the blog allows us to build a relationship with them. That way we can design products that we know our customers have faith in and will cherish forever.
