Over the last 12 months we’ve implemented some exciting new marketing strategies including The Big Question and the Nurses Protect Yourself PR campaign. The aim of The Big Question is to really understand key issues surrounding our industry - from dignity in care to the perceptions of agency nursing.
By asking health and social care professionals (and the general public), through social media, advertising and e-marketing, what they think about pertinent issues, we’ve discovered hidden gems of information that may otherwise have been missed. This information is then collated into easy-to-digest reports, which are distributed amongst our staff and available publicly, with the aim of improving our services for our team and service users. We have already had some insights that will change the way we train and develop our workers.
The Nurses Protect Yourself project stemmed from the desire to help showcase how we support our agency nurses and protect them from some of the common issues facing those working in isolation, with the end goal of enticing nurses to the business.
Launched with a survey that delivered extremely telling results, we are set to team up with Nursing Times to produce a special and informative supplement, plan to launch a free online guide as a resource for all nurses and will add to our already extensive training programme to incorporate further advice, guidance and even more hands on support.
