Mark Wright told Lorraine his dad was on oxygen as he paid tribute to late TOWIE star Mick Norcross.
Mark spoke of the mental struggles he and others faced during Covid lockdown as he opened up to Lorraine about his own family and shared his feelings about Mick.
He said: "Its not easy. its been tough from the start and I feel for everyone across the world who is going through this, not only if you've been affected by Covid, but during this whole lockdown period mentally it's so tough.
He added: "When it hits you personally and hits your family personally it goes up to a whole new level. It's when it becomes really real."
Although Mark has said before that his dad and other family members had been in hospital as a result of Covid he revealed that his father has been in real pain and needed oxygen.
He said: "You see it first hand and your own family suffering and your strong dad land in a hospital bed having to be assisted with oxygen and telling you how hard it is and how much pain they're in. Thats when it really hits home and you think this is serious. And we need to listen and believe what you're told. You need to know its real."
Mark also spoke about Sugar Hut owner Mick Norcross who was found dead at his home after sending out a heart-wrenching final tweet, saying: "At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could. And that is good enough."
He said: "I knew Mick quite well. I wasn't very close to him so I'm not going to spend too long talking about him but I just want to send my condolences and love to the family and Kirk."
He added: "They must be broken hearted. What I did know of Nick, he was such a gentleman, such a nice guy and always so welcoming to his club.
" It's just so sad and if you know anyone out there today I think the message is just talk, ask if they are ok.
If you are feeling down talk to a friend or family member because we hear this too much, too often now and its these kind of things and situations that hit most and the hardest when you think maybe somebody could have spoken."
