Mark Wright's mum Carol has shared her devastation at not seeing her family this Christmas.
Carol's area in Essex falls under the Tier 4 rules, which means everyone living there is not allowed to mix with other households, even over Christmas.
The TOWIE star, 60, took to her Instagram account on Christmas Eve to share her sadness, saying this is the first year of her life that she will not spending it with her big family.
Instead of the usual 12 to 30 people around her dinner table, there will just be three of them in her house on the big day.
Carol shared a picture of a Christmas gone by, which included Mark and his wife Michelle Keegan and his sister Jess Wright.
She captioned it: "Merry Christmas to my world. Who would have thought this year would have been a weird one?
"In 60 years of my life I have only sat around a table of 12 to 30 people as I come from a big family.
"This year I have a table for 3, which saddens me so much.
"But we have to realise we are lucky to have not lost a loved one to this virus.
"I want to say sorry for any one who has lost a loved one this year, to anyone that has a loved one suffering the virus or who is unwell.
"We will get through this and we will all be back together soon.
"Love my family more than the world, we be back together very soon.
"X Merry Christmas you darlings. X x."
