Mark Wright's brother Josh welcomes baby son 12 weeks early with heartbreaking picture

Josh Wright and his wife Hollie Kane have shared a heartbreaking picture of their baby boy – after revealing he was born 12 weeks early.

Footballer Josh, who is the younger brother of TOWIE stars Mark and Jess Wright, became a dad for the second time on February 11.

But the tot, whose name is yet to be revealed, was born at 28 weeks weighing just 2.4lbs.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Josh’s wife Hollie shared photos of their newborn in an incubator.

One photo showed her and Josh’s hands cradling his head. Another showed the tiny baby wearing a blue bobble hat asleep on Hollie’s chest.

While a third showed their oldest son, Joshua James, looking down at his younger brother in hospital.

Thanking the Princess Alexander Hospital in Harlow for everything they had done, mum Hollie said their baby boy is now ‘looking healthy’ after a ‘scary and emotional’ two weeks.

Detailing what the family had been through, she wrote: “At 28 weeks, 12 weeks early our beautiful baby boy was born on 11.2.23 at 6.08am weighing 2.4lbs.

“Caught us by surprise for sure but we can’t thank @princessalexandranhs midwives, nurses, doctors and everyone associated enough for making what has been such a difficult time that little bit easier, you have been truly amazing.”

“The past two weeks have been manic to say the least along with being very scary and emotional but all we can hope for is our ray of sunshine keeps improving and getting stronger ready to come home in the next couple of months please god.

“Our baby boy is looking healthy and we simply couldn’t love him anymore already.”

Hollie continued: “To our family, friends and loved ones that have been by our side you know you mean the world to us and we can’t wait until you get to meet him.

“Life throws up the unexpected and can be difficult at times but as they say remember there will always be a happy ending if you are willing to fight for it and he certainly seems to be a fighter... You’ve got this son.”

She ended the post with: “Ps your big brother is waiting for you.”

The tot’s auntie, former TOWIE star Jess Wright, also took to Instagram to offer some words of support.

Posting a snap of her newborn nephew in his incubator, the 37-year-old wrote: “Terribly scary few weeks when this little darling entered the world 12 weeks early but he is fighting strong and I can’t wait to meet my new baby nephew please god very soon.

“Auntie loves you beyond words already, just like she does your big brother. See you soon little man.”

Last year Jess became a mum for the first time welcoming her son Presley, who she shares with businessman husband William Lee-Kemp, in June.

In an exclusive interview with The Mirror she candidly spoke about her own struggles with post-natal depression following Presley’s birth.

She shared: “For about four weeks I really suffered with post-partum depression. It was just very, very strange feeling. I couldn't really enjoy Presley as much as I wanted to because I had this cloud over me. I was feeling low and not knowing why. I was just very scared.”

Jess turned to her husband and mum Carol to support her through the rough patch.

She said: "I feel a million times better now. I think it’s very underplayed the baby blues, it needs to be spoken about more. I think it needs to be addressed more.

"Before I had Presley I knew about the baby blues but I didn't think I'd get like that. It's something that's really, really quite hard that women go through. You just have to be strong."
