Mark Wright reveals his affectionate nickname for wife Michelle Keegan

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on May 24.

And as former TOWIE star Mark gushed over his beautiful wife to mark the special day on Instagram he gave away the affectionate nickname he has for the stunning actress.

The Heart radio DJ, 34, who fell for the Our Girl star in 2012 and went on to marry her in May 2015, dubbed his love "Treac" - short for treacle - in the sweet tribute posted online.

Mark revealed the name as he wrote: "6 years just like that [rocket emoji] !! Feels brand new every day. Happy anniversary Treac. I Love you."

Michelle and Mark met whilst on holiday in Dubai and went on their first date just a few days after returning home.

However, in the past few years, they have spent a lot of time apart due to work - something which Michelle doesn't think is a bad thing.

Michelle was away filming in South Africa and Mark remained in Essex before he then headed to Los Angeles to take up a role on US television.

"Going away for work is never seen as a good thing, only as a negative, and I don't understand that. Are you seriously supposed to turn down work in case it impacts your marriage? It's ridiculous. The travelling could be tiring but it was amazing," Michelle previously told.

"I remember taking off one weekend and spending it on a tropical beach and thinking, 'I'm being paid to be in another country doing something I love,'" she said.

However, being stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic has given her and Mark quality time together.

She added: "[For Christmas] we had breakfast in bed and some buck's fizz, which we never normally do because we're usually in a rush to get up and go to see family.

"We actually watched a film during the day – that's never happened before – and we had dinner in the evening, rather than at 3pm, with a chicken instead of turkey, which is what I prefer."

"We'll never have that time, just the two of us at Christmas, again. Before COVID, we'd do our own things but now we set our alarms and have got into routines of working out together."
