Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are reportedly facing opposition over plans to build a huge wall around their dream home in Essex.
The couple are currently involved in a lengthy building project after after demolishing a £1.3 million farm house to make way for a lavish five-bedroomed mansion.
The dream house will feature a home gym, a bar and an an outdoor swimming pool, but the pair's plans for extra security have reportedly hit a road block.
The Mail Online reports the pair have lodged a new planning application to build a huge wall around the property.
It's described as a "rendered wall" which will be between 1.8 metres and 2.1 metres high.
However, the publication reports the idea has been met with opposition from both Epping Forest District Council and Stanford Rivers Parish Council.
Officials have reportedly branded the wall "inappropriate" and suggested it's not in keeping with the tone of the "rural area".
The Mail Online reports the objections focus on a line of trees which would have to be cut down to make way for the new structure and a public right of way, which would be blocked.
"This site is in a very rural area, on a minor country lane," Epping Forest District Council wrote.
"Whilst we accept that the existing conifer screen could be considered to be incongruous within this setting, to replace it with a 2.1metre high rendered wall would be totally out of keeping, and fail to enhance the rural landscape setting
"None of the other properties on this lane have such inappropriate boundary treatments..."
Stanford Rivers Parish Council added: "The Parish Council OBJECTS to this application.
"The design of the... walls, together with the pillars and the gates, are out of keeping with the rural setting...
"In addition, a public footpath currently runs through this property, and whilst we understand there may be possible applications to alter this in the future, we could not at this time support a planning application which would effectively block a public right of way."
A source told Mirror Online the couple currently have no plans to build a wall around the property.
