Mark Wright invokes domestic stereotypes saying Michelle Keegan does all their housework

Mark Wright claims he has the perfect excuse not to lift a finger around the house – wife Michelle Keegan ’s OCD.

The 33-year-old reality star claims wife of five years Michelle won’t allow him to do housework – so he leaves it all to the former Coronation Street actress.

Mark has been married to 33-year-old star Michelle since 2015, suggesting there have been five long years of one-sided domestic chores for her to complete.

However, former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark says there are a couple of things that his wife will leave for him to do in their £2 million mansion.

Speaking on his Heart FM radio show, Mark revealed: “That’s the job I get around the house, changing bedsheets – and the bins."

He bragged: “My wife is brilliant.

"She is so house proud, and I leave her to do a lot as she is so amazing and she doesn’t let me touch most as she is so OCD about how it should look.

“There are certain things she hates to do, and she’ll say to me when I am here on the radio show, ‘Mark I’m not doing the sheets until you get home, so I’m not going to bed until you get home.’

"So I have to go home and do it. It’s a chore you leave until the last minute.”

Mark’s claims don’t quite match Michelle’s version of events – as she revealed last month that she is sick of him leaving his dirty underwear around their home.

Last month Michelle complained about Mark's bad habits in their home (Instagram)

She fumed to the Brassic podcast in June: “When he leaves his pants on the floor, I won’t move them.

“They can stay there for a few days at a time — until he works out that they need to be picked up.”

Michelle’s comments may suggest that Mark is expected to do his fair share of housework, but he just hasn’t been paying enough attention to notice.
