Mark Wright hangs up on interview with Piers Morgan live on GMB after Soccer Aid taunts

Mark Wright was not best pleased with Piers Morgan this morning and ended an interview after his taunts about Soccer Aid.

Last night, the 32-year-old former TOWIE star played for the England team as part of Unicef's Soccer Aid.

However Piers Morgan's World XI team beat them in penalties - something that he would not stop going on about on Good Morning Britain today.

Mark was speaking to Susanna Reid and Piers on GMB this morning via videolink when he quit the interview early.

Gushing about Mark's performance in the match, Susanna said: "A terrific game, Mark. You played an absolute blinder, I'm so proud of you and the rest of the team."

"You did play a blinder,' Piers agreed. "Because only a blind man would have missed the goal by that much."

In response, Mark waved at the camera and said: "Goodbye! Goodbye!"

He then cancelled the videolink as Piers continued to laugh.

Piers was almost unbearable today as he continued to crow about his win.

As well as branding Susanna a "snowflake manager", he kept showing off his trophy while 'We are the champions' chimed in the background.

The presenter also tweeted a picture of himself being thrown up in the air by his team and wrote: "Greatest night of my life. @socceraid."
