Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan 'living apart again' as they build their dream home

Mark Wright has reportedly been living separately from Michelle Keegan as friends told Closer that the Coronation Street actress wanted “some calm amid the madness of the house renovations” in Essex.

The couple, who started dating in 2013 and became married in 2015, have been constructing their dream mansion after buying and knocking down an old Tudor home in Epping Forest.

As the 33-year-old actress wrapped up filming Sky comedy “Brassic”, near her home city of Manchester, where she had been staying for three months while working, her husband, 34, had been living in Essex.

This time apart has not been troublesome for the couple, who is used to spending long periods of time apart. Mark, who also works in the entertainment industry, continued his role as a host on his radio show in London while his wife was busy acting in Manchester.

Following the sale of their former home last March, the British celeb couple has been planning, constructing, and designing their new £1.3 million mansion.

Mark has kept his fans updated with the construction of their dream home, as he even asked for the help of his followers with the interior.

He recently took to Instagram to ask his fans to help him choose a new staircase and a new bathroom.

However, building a lavish state-of-the-art mansion in Essex has not prevented Michelle from feeling melancholic.

Friends of the couple told Closer that the actress had been feeling nostalgic after returning to Manchester.

They told the magazine: “She upped sticks and moved to Essex eight years ago to be with Mark, and while it’s been great, Essex still doesn’t feel like home the way Manchester does.”

Nevertheless, the Our Girl actress has been spotted making trips back to see Mark. The television personality has, on the other hand, been seen tile-shopping in London.

As their friends told Closer that their “marriage is stronger than ever”, it is believed the pair will reunite this week to celebrate their six-year wedding anniversary.

The Mirror has reached out to Mark and Michelle's representatives for comment on this story.
