Mark Wright admits he misses LA as he gets stuck into work on his Essex dream home

Mark Wright has admitted he misses the Los Angeles lifestyle as he continues work on his dream home.

The former Towie star, 34, and his actress wife Michelle Keegan are currently building a mansion in Mark's native Essex and he gave fans an update on the construction work.

Filming himself standing in a muddy field, Mark admitted the garden landscaping still has a way to go.

However, he proudly turned the camera on the house and revealed the walls are up and the roof is starting to go on.

They bought a £1.3million home and knocked it down to construct their dream mansion from scratch.

Mark started a question and answer session with fans, to reply to all their queries about the project.

One asked him: "How's the new house coming along," and he replied: "Coming along nicely thanks! But I just wanna click my fingers and it be done."

Mark first moved to LA in 2017 to take up the job on US TV. The role meant he had to live apart from wife Michelle, but the couple managed to make their marriage work long-distance.

He quit the show in 2019 and moved back to the UK, admitting he wanted to be able to spend more time with his partner and his family.
