Cincinnati Bengals running back Mark Walton was arrested in mid-March and faces felony charges.
According to David Ovalle of the Miami Herald, Walton allegedly ran from police after being pulled over. He allegedly shrugged off taser prongs during the pursuit. A search uncovered marijuana, a rifle and loaded clips. He faces charges of reckless driving, marijuana possession and reckless carrying a concealed weapon.
Previously, Walton had an unreported January arrest on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge. He was also arrested in February and faces a battery charge from an altercation in a parking garage.
A fourth-round pick by the Bengals last year and at best third on the depth chart, the Bengals could choose to wait and let the legal process play out. But with camps starting next week, the staff might make a call on Walton’s future with the team.
