Mark Wahlberg has mile-high expectations for Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.
The infamous actor and long-time New England sports fan worked out with Mayfield and was asked about their relationship by a TMZ reporter. Wahlberg gave Mayfield some major respect while responding.
“Baker’s my buddy, man,” Wahlberg said. “He’s the heir to the throne – to Tom Brady”
Mayfield began turning around Cleveland’s franchise last season after leading the Browns to a 7-8-1 record. His team has added Odell Beckham Jr. and numerous other pieces that make Cleveland a legitimate team in the AFC.
Although Mayfield seems to be the real deal — he has a long way to go until he can be considered the heir to Brady.
