Mark Moran to make championship debut as Mayo side named for Connacht final against Galway

A full championship debut for Mark Moran is the only change to the Mayo side for Sunday's Connacht final clash with Galway in Salthill.

James Horan was pleased with his side's performance in the runaway win over Roscommon last Sunday and he has decided to just bring in Moran, who plays for Westport, for Ryan O'Donoghue in the half-forward line.

Veteran Kevin McLoughlin makes his 65th championship appearance for the county since his debut 11 years ago against New York.

Mayo: David Clarke; Oisín Mullin, Chris Barrett, Lee Keegan; Patrick Durcan, Stephen Coen, Eoghan McLaughlin; Conor Loftus, Matthew Ruane; Kevin McLoughlin, Mark Moran, Diarmuid O'Connor; Tommy Conroy, Aidan O’Shea, Cillian O’Connor.
