Mark Lawrenson delivers Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal FA Cup prediction

By Bruna Reis

Mark Lawrenson believes Arsenal will come up against tough opposition when they face Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Steve Cooper will be keen to enjoy a positive cup run with his new side after arriving at the City Ground in September.

Although Mikel Arteta and Co. may be clear favourites, Lawrenson says that Cooper's influence will play a part in what he believes will be a five-goal thriller.

"The same thinking applies with Forest because Cooper has lifted the whole club," Lawrenson wrote in his BBC Sport column. "This will be a test for Arsenal but I'd like to think the Gunners will pick a strong team after having their Carabao Cup semi-final with Liverpool postponed, and there is a good vibe about them at the moment."

Lawrenson predicted a 3-2 Arsenal win.
