Mark Labbett shares tip The Chase contestants should 'always' use

The Chase's Mark Labbett doled out some key advice during Wednesday's instalment of the popular quiz show.

As ever, host Bradley Walsh welcomed four strangers to the ITV studio. Janine from Plymouth, Thomas from Doncaster, Carol from Stansted and Eli from Radlett, joined forces in the hopes of taking home some cash.

But it wouldn't be easy, as they were up against one of Britain's biggest brains.

The latest episode of The Chase saw the team pitted against The Beast aka Mark Labbett. Janine was up first, but was sadly caught by the Chaser.

Second to the podium, Thomas answered a respectable five questions correctly in his cash builder, making it back to the table with £5,000 after taking the middle offer.

Up third was Carol, who was hoping to use any winnings to buy a Winnebago for herself and her husband of 40 years. But it wasn't to be.

She took the low offer of £1,000, but was caught out by The Beast after being indecisive on an answer. Bradley said: "Carol second-guessed herself, she was going to press A and she went 'no I'll press B instead'".

Mark then issued a piece of advice for all contestants. He said: "I would have above the door as you go out 'always go with your gut'".

Eli was also caught by the Chaser, meaning Thomas played the final as a one-man team. He was caught by The Beast with one minute and 14 seconds to spare, and left the studio empty-handed.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITVX
