A man has been arrested following the killing of Mark Hall in West Belfast.
Detectives are investigating the murder which took place on Rodney Drive on Saturday, December 18, when Mr Hall was shot multiple times by two gunmen in his mum's house.
The 31-year-old later died in hospital.
Police have now arrested a 65-year-old man on suspicion of a number of offences including murder and attempted murder in relation to the incident.
He was arrested in Belfast this morning, Sunday, January 9. Police are continuing their appeal for information from anyone who was in the St James or Rodney Drive area on December 18 and witnessed any suspicious activity.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detectives investigating the murder of Mark Hall in Rodney Drive, West Belfast, on Saturday 18th December have arrested a 65-year-old man on suspicion of a number of offences including murder and attempted murder.
"The man was arrested in Belfast this morning (Sunday 9th January) and currently remains in custody assisting detectives with their enquiries.
"Officers continue to appeal to anyone who was in the St James or Rodney Drive area on Saturday and who witnessed any suspicious activity or captured dash-cam footage in the area to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1466 18/12/21.
