Mark Epstein, the brother of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has addressed viral speculation that he mentioned former President Bill Clinton receiving oral sex from Donald Trump in uncovered emails released by the US government.
ICYMI, the House Oversight Committee shared a bunch of Jeffrey’s emails last week as part of its effort to expose his links to current President Trump.
One such email dating back to 2018 sees Mark ask Jeffrey if “[Vladimir] Putin has the photos of Trump blowing Bubba?”.

Attention quickly turned to identifying the person Mark called ‘Bubba’. Since Clinton was known by that nickname during his presidency, some suggested Mark was alluding to him being ‘blown’ by Trump.
But the eldest Epstein brother has now denied that claim. “For the avoidance of doubt, the reference to ‘Bubba’ in this correspondence is not, in any way, a reference to former President Bill Clinton,” Mark said in a statement to The Advocate.
He described the emails as “part of a humorous private exchange between two brothers”, saying it was “never meant for public release or to be interpreted as serious remarks”.
Mark stopped short of delving deeper into the meaning of the emails, but his spokesperson told The Advocate that ‘Bubba’ is a “private individual who is not a public figure”.
“Misinterpretations of formal language or nicknames in email correspondence [distract from] the serious questions that remain unanswered,” the spokesperson added.
While those statements seemingly put to bed much of the chatter that overran social media over the weekend, questions still remain around other Epstein emails mentioning Trump that were released last week.

In 2011, Jeffrey emailed his associate Ghislaine Maxwell saying Trump had “spent hours” with one of his victims and described the president as “the dog that hasn’t barked”.
In another exchange in 2019, Jeffrey told author Michael Wolff that Trump “knew about the girls”, presumably in reference to his sex trafficking victims.
For his part, Trump has repeatedly denied any wronging in his relationship with Jeffrey. Over the weekend, he launched his own investigation, led by the Justice Department, into Jeffrey’s links to his opponents including prominent Democrats like Clinton.
“Records show that these men, and many others, spent large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his ‘Island’,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Stay tuned.”
