Mark Drakeford lockdown rules announcement: What time is the three-week review briefing today?

First Minister Mark Drakeford will today set out the latest set of changes to lockdown rules in Wales.

He will hold a press conference to update on the latest coronavirus situation in Wales and announce the outcome of the latest three-weekly review of Covid-19 rules.

It comes after the Welsh Government cabinet met on Thursday, March 11, to review the existing alert level four rules which have been in places since December 20 last year throughout Wales.

Since then there have been three reviews and while there have been some modest changes, such as getting the youngest children back into school and four people from two households being allowed to exercise outdoors together, the overarching stay-at-home message has been in place since before Christmas.

The latest changes will be confirmed in the Welsh Government press briefing on Friday, March 12, three weeks after the last review.

What time is the review of lockdown restrictions?

The announcement will be on Friday, March 12, at 12.15pm as usual and led by the First Minister.

You can watch it live on the Welsh Government's social media pages or on WalesOnline's official Facebook page.
