Mark Cuban's Latest Hot Take About the 'War On Woke' Isn't Going Over Well

Billionaire Mark Cuban has proved time and time again that he is never afraid to speak his mind.

From honestly admitting his investing misses to challenging fellow billionaire Elon Musk on Twitter, Cuban continues to make waves in a refreshing way.

DON'T MISS: Mark Cuban Lashes Out at Elon Musk as 'Woke War' Continues

His latest topic is one he has touched on before, but this time around he really nails it. In a tweet sent on July 23, Cuban compares the ever-growing "War on Woke" to "The Streisand Effect," a term coined when singer Barbara Streisand tried to suppress the release of a photograph of her Malibu home and only succeeded in drawing greater attention to it.

"2023 is the year of the 'Streisand Effect'," Cuban wrote. "People find out about the things they hate from people and media who tell them they should hate it, should never see it, and say it should be cancelled. Which in turn makes millions of people who would have never otherwise seen it, hate it or love it."

While Cuban's commenters are typically supportive of his transmissions, this time around many of them were not, with many saying that what Cuban highlighted is hardly unique to the rise of the "War on Woke."

Per his usual MO, Cuban didn't stand down, replying to clarify his take to one of the users challenging him.
