Mark Clattenburg: Former Premier League referee joins Prime Video as pundit

Former Premier League official Mark Clattenburg has become Prime Video’s new refereeing pundit.

The 45-year-old has a wealth of experience as a top referee and has overseen some of the biggest matches in football.

Clattenburg was in charge of the 2016 Champions League final and was also named referee for the Euro 2016 final that year too.

In 2017, Clattenburg left the Premier League for a role with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, replacing Howard Webb as the country’s Head of Refereeing.

Clattenburg has since gone on to referee in China, but he will now be back in the Premier League by working as a pundit.

The 45-year-old has joined Prime Video as their new refereeing pundit and will work on their coverage over the festive period.

Prime Video revealed that its December fixture schedule on Thursday will be expanded for the second season, delivering 23 Premier League matches across nine separate matchdays.
