Mark Allen gives Andy King the Rangers VIP treatment as midfielder swots up on Ibrox life

He's poised to become Rangers' 10th signing of the summer and Andy King is already getting up to speed on life in Glasgow.

The 30-year-old was spotted alongside director of football Mark Allen as he sampled Ibrox on a European night for the game against Midtjylland.

Wales international King will pen a one-year loan deal at Ibrox after Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers rubber stamped his move to Scotland.

King was snapped beside his partner brushing up his knowledge on the Premiership side as he dived into the club's matchday programme.

And the arrival of the experienced midfielder will add further competition in the Ibrox engine room.

Rangers already have Joe Aribo, Greg Docherty, Glen Kamara and Steven Davis to choose between and the likes of Andy Halliday can also operate in the heart of the midfield.

But King brings Premier League experience and was part of the Leicester side that shocked the world to lift the trophy back in 2016.

Gerrard and Allen have pinpointed King as the man to add an extra dimension as Rangers look to wrestle the title away from Celtic and believe adding further options in the middle can boost their title chances.

And Rangers could have plenty of fixtures to deal with if they once again reach the Europa League group stage.

King, who part of Wales' Euro 2016 squad, knows all about dealing with big expectations.
