MAGA has been fighting more than usual lately — and this time, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Laura Loomer are battling over who should be allowed to give Donald Trump advice and who is secretly compromised.
In a long post on X, Greene publicly questioned Loomer’s intentions to her nearly 5 million followers. She posted a screenshot showing that Loomer had blocked her, then launched into her latest gripe with the conservative influencer. Loomer had recently criticized the official X page of the U.S. Army for spotlighting Medal of Honor recipient Florent Groberg — a man she deems “unworthy” of the post because he’s not U.S.-born and once delivered a speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2016.
Groberg earned his Medal of Honor by saving the lives of fellow soldiers during a suicide bomber attack. Greene, who has been drifting away from the MAGA base lately, pushed back: “No one cares about his politics, that man was willing to die to save others.” She went on to suggest Loomer might be financed by someone because all she does is attack people “who are unapologetically America First” and funnel propaganda to Donald Trump.
Why Trump would need Loomer for any kind of intel is anyone’s guess, but she has previously claimed that the President sees her as a “guide.” And if Greene is this rattled, then maybe there’s some truth to how much influence Loomer wields over Trump’s actual policies.
Loomer quickly fired back, offering more “context” about her personal dealings with Greene and the inner workings of Trumpworld. She alleged Greene is simply jealous of another woman thriving in the GOP. Then the spat descended to Nicki Minaj levels of petty when Greene brought up Loomer’s alleged affair with her husband — who Greene claims was also involved with a “sex guru.” Loomer denied being funded by any shadowy intelligence agency and reminded Greene that she herself once donated to one of Loomer’s two failed political runs. Loomer insisted she can criticize anyone she pleases, including Cabinet Secretaries she deems disloyal to Trump. She also accused Greene of not being a “true Christian” because of her alleged affair — and noted she joined MAGA before Greene ever did.
.@mtgreenee you attacked me planted a story about me in the @nytimes when Trump wanted to hire me in 2023. You made up lies because you couldn’t stand the idea of another woman in the GOP having success.

An Army official responded to Loomer’s original comments via The Washington Post, saying, “The Army is not going to check the political affiliation of our soldiers before we recognize them. A man or woman serving is not a Democrat or Republican, they are an American. Their political affiliation has nothing to do with their service.” However, in the comment sections under Loomer and Greene’s posts, it was clear MAGA world had chosen Loomer’s side — further calling into question where Greene currently stands within the movement.
Loomer and Greene’s public feud is doing MAGA no favors — making them all look petty, self-absorbed, and more concerned with hanging around the corridors of power than actually serving Americans. And it’s unlikely this will be the last round in the fight over who gets to whisper in Donald Trump’s ear.
