Marjorie Taylor Greene Again Slams Trump, Says 'He's Got Real Problems With Republicans'

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene again criticized President Donald Trump as her exit from Congress gets closer.

Speaking to CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Greene said she thinks "the dam is breaking" and more Republicans are set to break with the president on different issues.

She went on to make reference to the fact that 13 House Republicans voted with Democrats to restore collective bargaining rights he had stripped from about 1 million federal workers.

"Those 13 Republicans that voted to take down his executive order last week, literally that same evening put on their tuxedos and their evening ballgowns and went to the White House Christmas party. That's pretty bold," she claimed.

Greene also said the fact that Indiana Senate Republicans rejected Trump's push to redraw congressional districts in the state is a "sign" they're "entering the campaign phase for 2026, which is a large signal that lame duck season has begun."

"He's got real problems with Republicans within the House and the Senate that will be breaking with him on more things to come," she added.

Greene also warned last week that the party is set to lose the midterms next year, largely as a result of affordability issues in the United States.

"I do believe at this time that Republicans will lose the midterms, and I think that's unfortunate," Greene said in an interview with CBS News.

She went on to take aim at Trump over his assessment of the economy. She rejected his claim that he gave the economy a "A+++++," saying he "needs to be aware that he's a billionaire president of the United States."

"You can't gaslight people and tell them that their bills are affordable, and you can't tell them that the economy is in A+++. You just can't do that, and I think it's insulting to people's intelligence," she added.

Elsewhere in the interview, Greene said she is "starting to feel very sorry for President Trump," adding that it is a "very poor reflection on him that he chooses to speak about me that way."

She then claimed that Trump's insults aimed at her could alienate female voters. "He always continues to speak about women like this, and that's something that women all over the country pay attention to," she added.

"I think the Republican Party needs to take a hard look at it, because the Republican Party has a very difficult time with women voting for them."
