Hadjuk Split club president Luksa Jakobusic insists the club don't have to sell Celtic -linked defender Mario Vuskovic.
The 19-year-old defender is on the Hoops radar as Napoli, Verona, Udinese and English Premier League new boys Watford all look to snap up the starlet.
The dethroned Premiership champions reportedly had representatives watching the Croatian Under 21 star in Hajduk's defeat to Dinamo Zagreb with a view to a £4m swoop.
However, Jakobusic has opened the door for a summer exit but says it will need to be the right price for the Croat.
He said: "I can neither confirm nor deny the recent reports about a bid for Mario.
"The player will only be sold if the deal represents good business sense for the club. We are no longer in a position where we have to sell players to survive.
"The club is in a much better position financially and we will look at Mario's position at the end of the season."

While Celtic are still looking to appoint a manager and director of football, decision on the playing staff are still taking place behind the scenes.
Polish striker Patryk Klimala left the club last week and a new four-year deal was handed to young defender Stephen Welsh.
