Mario Rosenstock responds as RTE Late Late viewers have their say on performance

Mario Rosenstock has thanked Late Late Show viewers for their nice comments after his appearance with Ryan Tubridy on Friday night.

The Gift Grub comedian was in flying form as he mimicked all sorts of Irish celebrities from Roy Keane to RTE reporter George Lee.

And fans loved the impressions, with Mario's Ronan Keating take going down a treat in particular.

He tweeted after the show: "Jaysus blown away by all the kind comments on @RTELateLateShow -thank you ! the 'Ronan snipers' bit seems to have gone down well. Hopefully see some of you at a live show from March ‘22 !"

One impressed viewer replied: "Needed a good belly laugh on a Friday night!! The mother and I in tears laughing!! Looking forward to Wexford in 2022."

While another said: "You were brilliant. Hadn't laughed that much in a long time."

Other than Ronan Keating, the comedian's Roy Keane bit had Ryan Tubridy and the audience in stitches laughing.

He said to Tubs: "Never get sick of doing Roy Keane. I'm just worried how terrified he might be at home watching me."

Breaking out the Cork accent, Rosenstock said: 'If ever I meet this fella I'm going to rip his f*****g head off'

"So I am terrified of that.

"He's like a cross between Keyser Söze and the tooth fairy."

The comedian also questioned how the pundit can appear on tv a day apart and appear to grow a full beard.

He added: "How did he grow a full beard overnight? Are there two Roy Keane's?"

He went on to describe Davy Fitzgerald as "Roy Keane with a hurley".
