Mario Addison fined by NFL for facemask penalty vs. Buccaneers

According to a report by Joe Person at the Athletic, Panthers outside linebacker Mario Addison has been fined $10,527 by the NFL for his facemask penalty in London against the Buccaneers last week.

It’s been a busy season for Addison, who leads the team and ranks fourth in the league with 6.5 sacks.

Addison has been with Carolina since late in the 2012 season, when they signed him off Washington’s practice squad. In 102 games with the Panthers, he’s totaled 52 sacks, 89 quarterback hits and 48 tackles for a loss.
