Marina Granovskaia sent Sergio Reguilon message as Chelsea eye third summer signing

Glenn Hoddle has warned that there will be plenty of clubs looking at Sergio Reguilon following his excellent season on loan at Sevilla.

Chelsea are said to be very interested in the left-back, viewing him as a cheaper alternative to Ben Chilwell with Leicester City playing hardball over their asking price for the England full-back.

It means the Blues negotiating with Reguilon's parent club Real Madrid over a potential transfer but there has also been interest from Napoli and Lazio in Italy.

Hoddle says this is unsurprising following his excellent form both in La Liga and the Europa League.

Speaking to BT Sport before Sevilla's Europa League quarter-final 1-0 win over Wolves, former Chelsea boss Hoddle said that the 23-year-old is not yet the finished article but that his attitude and confidence in attack stands out as impressive.

"He's going to get tested, hopefully Traore will play out wide and stop him from getting forward.

"He loves to get forward but he'll be asked a few questions defensively.

"He looks a good prospect, a lot of clubs are looking at him now as well.

"Obviously he's not the finished article yet but he's full of confidence.

"He likes to get forward like all full-backs do, really, in world football at the moment.

"He's got a lovely, lovely left foot and he's so confident in the final third running at people.

"This is the thing about this team, they've won the Europa League five times and they've got that wonderful ingredient of belief.

"They believe they can win it again and that mentality is really tough to play against."
